Marketing Specialist
Pacha Soap Co. - Hastings, Nebraska

As Marketing Specialist, I was responsible for assisting with campaign development, executing various marketing materials, handling marketing communication for new product lines and planning events. I collaborated with the Product Development, Sales and Digital Teams to understand what their needs were and delivered actionables within deadlines. I worked within the company's brands; including Pacha Soap, Soli Essential Oils and private label projects.
Marketing Manager

Under this role, I managed and created all marketing assets for the five locations in the Greater Omaha area. I worked closely with the owner and store managers to plan monthly campaigns that contributed to a 50% social media follower increase and more foot traffic through the door. I was in charge of content creation, designing printed materials, monitoring Yelp and Google Business, overseeing the marketing email and assisting with community events.

I worked closely with the Associate Director of Student Involvement and Greek Life Coordinator as the Omaha Greeks Student Administrator. My responsibilities were heavily focused in coordinating the communication and event requests between the four councils and 17 chapters. I oversaw the department email, designed monthly newsletters, managed social media accounts and redesigned the official office website which all followed strict brand guidelines and values.

I was brought on to create marketing visions and strategies for this growing local business. My role was to supervise projects, coordinate and deploy marketing materials and implement organizational systems to manage projects. As Marketing Coordinator, I assisted with social media promotional plans, gathering content to be used online and writing captions and blog posts. I provided graphic design skills for printed materials such as brochures and product packaging.
Event's Assistant
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium - Omaha, Nebraska

My responsibility as an Event's Assistant was to help with the production and execution of marketing special events to create a visually appealing image of Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. I helped set up and tear down events that brought up to 30,000 people, assisted with logistical needs and troubleshooted issues as necessary. I was also tasked with taking photographs of events and aiding the Marketing and Event Manager with advertising.

This role consisted of taking photographs of products and the store, creating promotional plans and designing unique materials to be displayed in the store. I helped manage online platforms and posted engaging content that contributed to 15,000 weekly impressions. When I was not making signage, writing product descriptions, supporting web page redesigns, capturing images or implementing organizational systems, I scooped, baked and decorated cookies to sell.

As a general member of the Professional Association for Design Nebraska (AIGA), I attended graphic design educational sessions to grow in my practice, profession and passion. I had the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals for passionate conversation and professional development. With the help of this organization I was able to evolve as an individual and further my knowledge as a designer after graduation.

Maverick Productions is the official student programming board where we planned social, educational, and entertaining events that brought up to 8,000 attendees. I also served on the Executive Board as the Vice President of Public Relations where I completed a full organizational re-brand, became the first student to design all content for the Spring Concert, managed all social media accounts and led a team in the creation of marketing materials.

I was the Co-Founder and Vice President of Craft Club which grew to be the largest non-Greek affiliated organization on campus that brought creative individuals together. My responsibilities were to write the official constitution, organize monthly meetings and bring in professional guests from the community. As Marketing Director, I served on the Cardinal Cabinet and oversaw the Marketing Team in the creation of chapter apparel, gathering of diverse content and promoting across digital platforms and campus.

My first role as the Director of Public Relations was to complete an organization re-brand and develop our marketing strategy. As an Executive Member, I supervised the Marketing Directors of each chapter and provided assistances in their promotional content. I also helped plan empowering events throughout the year and Formal Recruitment in the fall while running our social media pages, designing our website and creating a variety marketing materials.

I was selected as one of 20 freshman to serves as a student leader on campus, practice network skills and assist with the planning of events to improve campus. The following year I was selected to sit on the Executive Council as Public Relations Officer where I ensured the vision and mission of Student Government was carried out through our written and digital communication. Another responsibility was to lead the Election Commission in the planning, promotion, administration and execution of the Student Election where we doubled the amount of voters.
